We were in luck – my almost perfect record of not having a full day of rain on any wedding I photograph was kept intact! While my assistant and I were driving from Pittsburgh to the Bridgeport, WV area, it was overcast and raining off and on and the weather people were calling for the same throughout the day. But fortunately, the sun came out and it turned into a lovely day.
Here are a few selected images from Kristin + Pete’s wedding – I’ll be posting a slideshow featuring more images soon, so be sure to stop back. For those of you who follow my blog, you saw some images from their guestbook here.
While simple, these classic white bows and tulle at the end of each pew in the church were a nice touch.

Kristin opted for a bouquet featuring pink and cream roses each containing a pearl in the center of the rose.

I loved the dramatic lighting I captured here when Kristin was placing her garter on her leg.

It seems that no matter how hectic things are while a bride is getting ready, she gets a very serene look on her face when putting in her earrings – Kristin was no exception.

I thought it was great that both Kristin and Pete were baptized in this church and were able to get married there.

Yum…cake! ![]()

The best man, who was also Pete’s brother wasn’t afraid to get the couple and their guests laughing during his toast.

A thank you goes out to Amanda & Perry, whose wedding I photographed a few years ago – they referred Kristin to me.
